He needs to make a 4+ get up roll, then a 2+ gfi.

Don't forget to declare the blitz before you start rolling.

I thought that you could only get up and GFI were prohibited? Did the rule get changed?

On page 12 of the LRB it says, "If the player has less than three squares of movement, he must roll a 4+ to stand up. If he stands up successfully, he may not move further unless he Goes For It, as explained later."

Yes, you have roll 4+ to stand up, afterwards you have no MA left and must do GFI.

Else you would have to roll 4+ plus a GFI to stand up MA2 players which is not the case.

Last year when they got rid of the Treeman standing rule they moved it to 4+ to stand up if MA 2 or less. After standing you still get 2 GFIs.

So in exchange for losing assists, the treemen gained GFIs. Seems fair. Would have been nice to tell us though.

Agreed ... this one was more snuck through than publically changed during Andy's out of control period as editor of the LRB.

Andy has agreed not to do such bad things anymore.
