TTM clarification

I just started a goblin team and I have few questions about TTM.

1. Does it use the team's Pass Action for that turn?

2. If the Big Guy throws an inaccurate pass, i.e. not a fumble but not complete, the goblin can still land successfully right? He just doesn't get +1 to the roll.

1) Yes it does.

2) Yes, in fact i think he gets -1.

1) yes it does

2) yes he can, but he dont get any modifiers at all. What sean said about -1 is wrong.
Its -1 for each tackle zone he lands in but not -1 for landing after an inaccurate pass.

Asmodan's right.

Thank god that TTM doesn't have to be accurate :) to succeed. It helps but isn't a must.

Good luck with your TTM :)

it used to be -1 for landing an inaccurate throw cause when the rules were made there weren't rookie big guys so you had ag2 ripper bolgrot throwing goblins a lot.

when the rookie trolls came out and were ag1 the -1 for landing was removed but i think its still printed on the quick reference cards but they should just get a straight ag roll

Are we talking 3rd Edition? Because if so, I don't believe 'Ripper Bolgrot has ever been AG2??? Morg is +1 AG compared to a rookie Ogre, but not Bolgrot, I think..

If 2nd edition then I don't know since I didn't start playing until 3rd edition.. But wasn't 'Ripper' Bolgrot an Orc with a chainsaw or something in 2nd Ed??? Damn, I need some sleep...

the chainsaw bloke had a similar name but checking yes it appears i was wrong and ripper bolgrot is indeed ag1

Does a accurate throwTeamMate/successful landing give the Thrower a completion SPP. (it would be treeman in this case)

in short: no

We have house ruled that if the throw was accurate and the landing successful then the bigguy gets a completion, we don't see why not.

yet another discussion on ttms and spps...

although it uses the pass action for the turn, you're not throwing a pass and therefore are unable to receive a completion. it doesnt matter if he lands on his feet, it doesnt matter if he's holding the ball. in order for a completion to occur, you must throw an accurate pass that is caught by the intended receiver. as there is no receiver in this case you cannot obtain a completion. if you dont like it, house rule it.

i like that house rule for counting it as a completion. but my question is since we are sorta on the subject, does the troll have to make a pick up the ball roll to see if he picks up the goblin. or any TTM player for that matter.
