Defensive Dauntless?

Can you use the Dauntless trait when being blocked, or just when throwing a block? The wording is a little unclear to me.

nope you can't use it if someone is blocking you
only when you are blocking other people

Play in the MBBL2 ... there we have a skill called Double Dauntless that does just that ...

We have used that skill for a while, its cool.

Nope it does not works defensivly only offensivly.
