Pact teams

Post by madhobbit »

Hi folks,

In part of our competition we allow the experimental pact teams. Now one of the coaches decided to play an Old World team. In that team he first picked up 4 Longbeards as linemen. Next thing were 2 Longbeards since the dwarfs are a allied race.
I think this is not how the rules were intended, but can't find anything about it in the text.

I'd like to read your ideas about this.

Thanks in advance,

m@hobbit.

Well ... you are using the BB Mag older version of the team. Not recommended ... team has balance issues with the extra longbeards.

GW released revised experimental rules for that team in the 2003 Annual.

You can find those rules here:

http://www.midgardbb.com/Experimental/E ... sters.html

The team is now only allowed 0-2 Longbeards on the fixed roster.

So with this team he can take 0-2 Longbeards and then take 0-2 Longbeards as his Dwarven Allies instead of a Dwarf position player for a total of 0-4.

From now on all the most recent experimental rules will be posted on this site:
