Third season Blood Bowl leage Orc team (TR 294). A new Blitzer, first skill was +1AG, has now gained a new skill. Any suggestions? My team has 3 AG4 orcs and 1 AG5 orc.
Thanks

Have you any pass blockers?
If not I say Pass Block, or Dodge on a double

Can't take dump off, orc blitzers have access to General and Strength. And it's a normal skill roll. But yes my Orcs do appear to have trans-racial issues.
Pass Block - I thought about it, but have never used it. How good of a skill is it? We do have three elf teams in the league this season, so I would expect to see more passing.
Thanks for the suggestions

Pass Blockers tend to work best in pairs I believe. But given you have so much AG kicking around it won't be hard to develop another.
Which players have the AG increases? With this info it becomes easier to plan how you are going to develop.

OT - Hey TiMun, you see me online on MSN every day! But yes I am back to post for a bit. My local league is playing catch up with my division so I have a bit of spare time

I would have taken pass block and later also given it to the ag5 player (unless its a thrower in that case another ag4)

Lineorc with +1AG, block, Sure Hands, Pro, SI(-1AV).
Lineorc with +1AG, block, +1AG.
Blitzer #1 with Block, Mighty Blow, Tackle, +1AG.
Blitzer #2 with Block, +1AG, and a new skill.
As you can see Blitzer #1 was being developed as a hunter, when he received the +1AG. I had actually intended the same for Blitzer #2, until he received the +1AG, because Blodge is very popular in our league. Also have a new thrower(Sure Hands, Pass) and a Thrower with Sure Hands, Pass, Block and Accurate.
The two other blitzers are defensive with (block, guard, pro, strip ball). The Black Orcs typically have block and Mighty Blow/Guard. Two other lineorcs, one with Guard and one with kick. Ogre with Blodge, and Goblin with Dirty Player and Diving Tackle. Odd choice for the Goblin skills, I know. But when his first roll was a double, I thought how appropriate, Dirty Player on a Goblin. When his second skill came I realized I was stuck, as none of the agility skills really worked well with dirty player. In hindsight I wish I had chosen block, would have made for a more useful player, as I would have chosen side step instead of diving tackle for his last skill. And a block, dodge, side step goblin would be an excellent player.
Back to the Blitzer, I initially thought Sure Hands for Blitzer #2, as it will enable him to pick up the ball in tight situations, and protect him from Strip Ball. But maybe I will give Pass Block a try, as I have not used this skill yet.
Thanks Again For all of your input.

I'd go strip ball or tackle. AG4 makes him mobile - so he's got a better chance of getting to a ball carrier.

With three elf team in your league I would definatley go Pass Block, and the lineorc with just block and +1AG get it aswell next skill.

I would take tackle. Helps slow down the blodge players.

Definately pass block. You could spread your AG +'s across the pitch and get a 4+ chance to intercept.
