chosing the dice to push instead of knocking over

Hi!
Please I don't know the official rule (even if there is any) because nothing is said in the LRB:

-A player can choose his dice and decide to push an opponent back instead of knocking him over, right?
-What about a player with Frenzy?
-What about a player with wild animal?
For these last two, an old rule (or epsilon) said that these players had to knock over if they could. What about now?
Thx a lot.

Any player, regardless if frenzy or wild animal, is free to chose the block dice result among the rolled results (as long as you are entitled to chose and not your opponenet, of course).
It's common for frenzy players to chose push backs in order to push opponents out of bonds for example.

He can choose whatever he wants, even with frenzy and wild animal (including skull).
Some leagues houseruled the old frenzy with an amount of blocks equal to a players movement so that you had to knock the player down if you could, to make it harder pushing players into the crowd.
Now you only have 2 blocks, so there is no need for this houserule any more.

Hey Cleminho!
Welcome to the european board.
Well, you can always decide to push instead of a pow. This is the official ruling.

Now, some house rules like mine say that a player with Frenzy have to put the oppoenent down as soo nas he can. But this is only in our league.

By the way, Wild animal have nothing to do with that cos, a wild animal Big guy, have Frenzy now...
