The topic should say it all.

If F.E. I block a oger , the oger chooses the skull since he is stronger , and makes the armor roll is he alowed to use mighty blow ?

From the rules i would say yes but wouldnt it be better if the skill would only be usable on an offensive block since I.M.O makes more sense ?

What do you think about?

Yes, mightly blow, claw, RSF etc. work for any AV/injury roll that is the consequence of a Block action regardless if you are the active or passive player or if you are standing or knocked down at the end.

On the other hand, you can't use Piling On when you go down bc. in order to use PO you have to chose to get prone after the opponent is knocked down. That's because you don't have the choice to get prone to use that skill (you already prone) and both players go down the same time.

(Piling On = conscious desicion, MB, Claw etc. automatic)

yes, but if it's a clear skull, the ogre doesn't go down.

Yes, but the Ogre was being blocked, not blocking, and the skills description clearly states it can only be used when blocking.

Usable when blocking/being blocked
Mighty Blow
Claw
RSF

Usable only when blocking
Piling On

Yep you can use MB, claw and RSF because it says in the skill description they can be used on any Av and/or Injury rolls, while PO does not say this.
