Secret weapons and Ogre Teams.

Post by Khaine »

Are Goblins on Ogre teams allower to take Sekrit Wepuns? I'm just curious because the wording says check your race to see if it is allowed a specific weapon. I want to use a variation on a goblin fanatic to make a chainsaw wielding looney. Any help would be appreciated. Also would it unbalance a league to allow spp for chainsaw kills? I've been toying with the idea.

The same would go for the Underworld Creepers.

I THINK that the Ogre team will not be allowed weapons for the Gobbos or Ogres. I know the MBBL doesn't allow it and the BBRC set down the test rules for us for the 3 Ogre rosters we are testing.

I hope they don't get access to them. It would only be another step in making the team feel like a goblin team rather then an ogre team.

Though a ogre holding a bomb then going BH would be funny

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Which Ogre Roster is working best for you so far? I was using the 2003 annual for my team but I'm curious if the other teams are working better or are more balanced. I'm scared of Roster #2 as I hate really stupid. I think the 11 ogres on a team is interesting as it would allow an all str 5 defense that would be harder to take down. I hope the rules come out before I have enough cash to buy my whole roster and then find out I have to change it around.

Hands down roster #2. The long term potential of this team is just frightening. The #2 roster is the only roster that I don't think becomes severally broken after say 10 games.
