Off For A Bite

We have a Vampire team in our league using the rules from the Annual. Are you (under these rules) allowed, when rolling a 1 for the OFAB trait, to bite already prone and even stunned Thralls? We have been playing it as if this is allowed but I was wondering if some of you interpret the rules differently?

You may definitely bite prone and stunned Thralls.

Aw chucks, have a game coming up vs vamps and was hoping to have a nasty surprise for the opposing coach ... oh well. Thx for the answers.
