Blitz Result on Kick-Off table

I was completely confused, when I received a blitz the other day and totally forgot how to resolve it. Could anyone help me out plz?
My guess is this...
1) Place ball
2) Roll kickoff
3) Scatter ball
4) Resolve kick-off
5) Bounce or catch ball
6) Drive starts!

That certainly applies when the opponent rolls a blitz against you...
