I want to know if having declared a pass I must throw the ball.
And what about a blitz? can I declare a blitz but don't block? I don't mean loosing the action due a failed dodge roll or simil, just changing mind.
This could sound a bit stupid, but here (spain) we have some translation problems and when you read a rule more than 5 times and in different places seems to loose it's sense.

You don't have to foul, pass, or blitz when you start a foul, pass, or blitz action. You just have the option.

Like Skummy said, but you do loose the Pass or Blitz action for that turn! But I guess that's what you thought as well!

No you don't.
Declaring the Action (either one) commits it to that player, but does not force you to do anything. If you don't, the action is lost however.

Aha! Exactly what i thought it would be .. you lose the action you have announce, and if you actually commit the action is just another matter ... ok, it's clear to me!

So thats one of the reasons why the new WA does not include blitzing without throwing a die.
If blitzing was included, you could give sure hands to your Rat ogre, take the ball and move across the pitch just saying: blitz.
So you would have a perfect ballcarrier with ST 5 and AG 3, how to stop that?
