Secret weapon questions

I tried using the search engine but didn't find anything satisfactory so...
1) Can you blitz using a guy with the chainsaw, or can it only be a block?
2) pg 29 LRB 2 - If the dice roll is less than the weapon’s Penalty roll then the referee does not take any action this time, and the player may carry on playing in the match (although another Penalty roll will have to be made if the player is used again).
Does this mean that a penalty roll will have to be made to use the player again in the next drive, or if the player is used again then a penalty roll will be made after a TD/half end.
I suspect the latter.
3) Can a player hold a lighted bomb and NOT throw it? If so, is it possible to (for example) hand off a bomb to another player who then runs and throws it? The reason I ask is because of these statements (pg 30 LRB):
"A coach may choose to have a Bombardier throw a bomb instead of taking any other action."
"If a player holding a lit bomb falls over for any reason then the bomb will scatter one square and then explode as described below."
Now since the bombardier can't move in the turn in which he lights the fuse, I cannot see any reason how he can fall down while holding a lit bomb, unless a bomb can be lit from one turn to another. Because of this, presumably in the turn after he lights the fuse he can move/throw/block/blitz etc., hence the second statement.
So in theory it should be possible to light a bomb one turn then either a) throw it, or b) hold it while lit then on the following turn(s) throw it, hand it off to someone who can then throw it etc.
4) Clarifying the bomb throwing process.
A bomb lands in a players square - if they catch it they must throw it again, and it will explode in the throwers square on a 1 - 3. If they DON'T choose to catch it it will scatter once and explode, regardless of what is in the square it scatters to.
