Help with tomorrow's tournament roster

Post by mrinprophet »

Sorry for the double-post but not everyone reads the GenCon tourney posts....

I'm headed for Indy in 6 hours and I have no idea what team/roster to take. I have two choices...orcs or undead. I'm leaning toward orcs because Norse painted them and they look so sweet. So... here's my options

Orcs (3 options)
3 BOB, 4 Blitzers, 2 Throwers, 2 Lineorcs,
3 RR
2FF
------------------
1 Troll, 4 Blitzers, 1 Varag, 1 Thrower, 4 Lineorc
1 RR (+leader reroll for Varag)
3 FF
---------------
2BOB, 4 Blitzers, 1 Troll, 1 Lino, 1 gobbo, 3RR, 1FF
---------------
Undead
2 Mummy
3 Wight
3 Ghoul
3 Zombie
3 RR
2 FF

What do you all think? Thanks,

For the orcs I'd take roster #1. Or drop a thrower and FF for 2 goblins (that 12th man is useful). I've had some success with that roster by taking tackle on a blitzer and then piling on on all the BOBs.

For the undead I'd take
2 Mummies
2 Wights
4 Ghouls
4 Zombies/Skeletons
1 FF
3 TRR

Remember that the ghouls lack of regen is less of a problem in a tournament where they recover after every game anyway - and MA7 & dodge is very useful.

Thanks Ian, greatly appreciated.

What skills would you take for the undead?
