Ogres don't cost double if they aren't Star Players!
Wait a second here! Double the cost for ogres on a goblin team? I don't think so!
I just looked over the Living Rulebook Version 1.1, and here's what it says ...
In the section on Star Players (page 18) it says: "Halflings and Goblins must pay double the usual price as Star Players don’t like to play with them! The notable exceptions to this are Treemen for Halflings and Trolls for Goblins."
It's clear that the above rule applies to Star Players.
It does not, however, say that applies to ordinary players. And on that note ...
In the section on Big Guys (page 25) it says: "Therefore, Big Guys are now included in the game as ‘normal’ players. All of the rules that apply to other players apply to Big Guys also, except where specifically modified in the Big Guy rules that follow."
Note that the text goes on to differentiate between "normal" Big Guys and "Star Player" Big Guys: "Note that you can still use the Big Guy star players in games if you wish. However they must be used as freebooters for one game only, just like any other star player."
Therefore, Big Guys are not automatically Star Players. Although Star Players (except for trolls) charge double to play on a goblin team, an ogre that's a normal Big Guy (not a Star Player) would not charge double to play for a goblin team.
Goblins can get ogres for $120K. The rules on that seem pretty clear to me!

How do you get leader, as its a General Trait?Unless you take it on a Big guy,in which case there are better skills to take.Longshot wrote: Double:
Leader is great too.
Tactics wise.
I just pile behind the trolls and roll upfield, I havent thrown a player since Nobbla Blackwart went skywards and came down on one of my own ,With a running chainsaw, both were unlucky enough to get Seriously injured.

Save for stars, they can really help and are cheap(unless you go with Morg).I hired him in my last game and he ruled the pitch

sorry, thinking about 3rd ED.
stars out please. This is better. We play with big guyz and rules for Secret Weapon.
About big guys, we have set this:
using normal rules about comp romms plus:
if you roll a 12, you can choose any comp (exept mutation if you re not a skven, mino..)
what do ya think of that?
Gobbo rules anyway!!!
