Chaos Team & BG's
Should a Chaos team use a BG and if so should it choose a Minotaur, or does it work better without a BG? I don't know whether to buy a BG or not.

A fairly new Chaos team should certainly not get a minotaur.
If you want a BG to start with go with an Ogre. Basically, an Ogre will bonehead 1/6 turns being mostly useless. A rookie Mino, OTOH, will fail a block die 1/3 times causing a turnover. Even if you are throwing 2D every time, that is still a 1/9 chance of a turnover to start, and end, your turn. Smart opponents can often make that a 1D block too.
If you can shield your mino for his first few games and use him as a safety, something a more established team can do, this isn't as much of a problem, and once you get block the odds get much better for the Mino...
