Double 5's on Beastman

Post by Gonzo »

Khorne has blessed one of my beastmen with double 5's. Too many options to really think of so I figured I should lump you guys with the problem :)

What should I give him, (he has block already). Here's the rest of the team:

CW - Claw
CW - Block,claw
CW - Block
CW -
BM - Block, guard
BM - +1 mv, +1 st
BM -
BM - Block, tackle, strip ball
BM - Block, guard
BM - Block
BM -
BM - Block, tackle, big hand
BM - Block, tackle
BM - Block, DOUBLE 5
BM - Block,
Mino -

Thanks for any help :)

i would say dodge looking at your team so far. plenty of decent players with guard/claw covered pretty well. A single bldoge may give you something new tactic wise, 4rerolls may let you handoff to score quicker.

Conter arguement is just another claw becuase its a very chaos skill. cant have too much of a good thing so maybe another claw would bolster your team. would mean rivla coachs can pick on claw less if you have loads of them

My favourite for beastmen (and what you lack) is a pass blocker with Foul Appearance and pass block.

Get your 3rd claw, then start getting Foul Appearance on the rest of the doubles rolls. You can tear any team up, and no one will be able to pass against you.

I'd personally say take the MA. More is always good on a team which tops out at 6 and it's just got more character... VLL is technically the same thing, only better, but also slightly easier to pick up later, if you're so inclined.

I'd say either +1ma (that will give you then two proper blitzers with 7ma), claw (never too much of it... ) or foul appearance.

Foul appearance would matter particularly if you find yourself facing many passing teams, teams which you find yourself having trouble stopping.

Thanks for the replies people,

I was all set to give him claw on the double, but the double 5 put a spanner in there and really made me think. I suppose if I go the movement route it should be VLL so I get a bonus on interceptions. I think I will go claw though - got to love Khorne :D
