dantless and multi block

hello all,

i have just gave my troll slayer multi block and i am wondering that if i do a dauntless multi block on say a black ork blocker and a orc lineman what will i need to roll, the standard five, or more because of the lineman getting blocked as well. can anyone clear this up for me, as i wanna "go hunt some orc's"

As a start, the standard is four...

If you do an ordinary Dauntless block against a Black Orc, and he's getting one assist but you're not, it doesn't matter if you succeed the Dauntless roll. It's 2D against all the same, since you only get to ST4 with Dauntless.

For a multiblock, I'm pretty sure you roll against the added strength of both.

I thought you could not multi block and use dauntless together. But thats what i've read here on this site. But i'm usually wrong somehow.

You can, but you have to roll the added up strenght.
On the other hand you need only one assist on either of the blocked players, to get a 2d-block.
Multiblock on a troll slayer isn´t a bad thing, as you can disable frenzy in this way.

But if you use multiblock and dauntless you won't be allowed to use frenzy.This means you only have to throw one die block and don't have to follow.
