My TR195 Khemri team

Post by AndyTKiLa »

Hi all. I´m playing an agressive-violent Khemri team in a league and i wanna know what do you think of my skill selection for the team. In the league play the following teams : HE, DE, WE, Orc, Skaven, Necros and Norse. (13 matches left).

Actually my team looks like that (<b>bold</b> skills are doubles):

2 x Mummy <b>+ST</b>, Block, Multiple Block NEXT SKILL : Tackle, <b>Sure feet</b>
1 x Mummy <b>Frenzy</b>, Block, Tackle NEXT SKILL : Guard, <b>PRO</b>
1 x Mummy <b>+MA</b>, Block NEXT SKILL : Tackle, <b>Frenzy</b>
1 x Blitz-Ra MB, <b>Frenzy</b> NEXT SKILL : Tackle, <b>PRO</b>
1 x Blitz-Ra MB, Tackle NEXT SKILL : Guard, <b>Frenzy</b>
1 x Thro-Ra Block, Tackle NEXT SKILL : Kick, <b>MB</b>
1 x Thro-Ra Block, Tackle NEXT SKILL : Hail Mary, <b>MB</b>
1 x Skeleton Dirty Player, <b>+ST</b> NEXT SKILL : Block, <b>MB</b>
2 x Skeleton Dirty Player NEXT SKILL : Block, <b>Guard</b>
3 x Skeleton NEXT SKILL : <b>Guard</b>, if not a double in his first roll i will retire them and try with new ones.

4 x RR
11 x FF
3 x Assistant coaches

What do you think of my next skills choices? Any advice of how to develop better a Khemri team.

At the moment i´m the league leader (10 Wins, 4 Loses) and made 69 Casualties. 25 TDs favor - 16 TDs against.

Hi!

Hi won´t go for sure feet for the mummy. Unless I have break tackle first. (Nice rolls for the two mummys by the way). I also would think about guard to d dice against two players with multiple block.
For the mummy with MA+1 it could be nice to have break tackle than you have the chance of getting a catcher with 3 dice to choice.

On the two Blitz-Ra´s I would also for Break Tackle because your opponent only has to out the player in a tackle zone. You have to dodge to get his open ball carrier and with AG 2 is quite risky.

The skellies are Ok imo. Perhaps but tackle on some skellies because there are many dodgy teams in the league.

Just bash your opponetn down and kick him as long as he on the floor.

I hope I could give a small idea how I would develop this team. I think your are doing a good job and chose a nice combo of skills.

For Mummy's, I would definitely say Break Tackle. But on double, as they are slow, I would suggest Stand Firm, to avoid moving back.

For Blitz-Ra, Strip Ball could be a good option, as nobody has it yet in your team. And, as they are the fastest players of your team, basic agility skills on double, such as Catch or Dodge would be interesting.

As most of the teams are faster than yours, Hail Mary Pass on Thro-Ra would rarely be useful. I would rather try Dump-Off, for desperate measure, but I am not convinced :) Dodge on double is a good option (against elves leaps into your cage)

For the skeletons, Block is always a good choice. I think that a few Pass Block, to run after the receivers and put tackle zones on them would be useful. And if you manage to multiply Guards, your team would become a hell for your opponents.

I am a bit puzzled how you score... and so much...

1.8 (?) per game? that means you score almost once each half. you have no troubles with a ball kicked in your nbackfield? you have to go there (1 turn) pickup and hope that does'n't fail and walk back (2nd turn) and then you are only deep in your own field, with little protection on the ball carrier, i think (i assume you just try hitting a lot)

You don't have troubles scoring? do you throw the ball?

and 69 cas? wow...
that is 5 cas per game :o ...can i buy your dice?

I play my Khemri 6 games now...and i only had one of those games where i have 5 cas. even when i just keep blocking...

The casualty number is cause i played a lot with the WE and the Norse player, his armour 7 helped a lot to increase my number of casualties per game and was lucky too. I normally end the games fouling with a skellie without dirty cuz the others were sent off by the referee.

I always make a quick-short pass with my thro-ra first turn to the midfield. I use mainly my 4 RR to make completions. If the pass fails it normally end near my players and with the 2 thro-ra in the backfield with block and Tackle can blitz his catcher. My thro-ra have 14 and 13 comp at the moment.

I forgot to say that my league dont accept ties so we play overtimes until one coach wins, i played a few so my %casualties and %TD are less. The true stats should be 1.4 Td and 3.9 casualties for match.

Of course with that many dirty players the casualty rate comes as no surprise to me. I'd even say it's rather low.
