I would say why take the less effective and pay 10000 more?Mick Moon wrote:yes i do agree - i play both setup´s , no question.
why take the less effective big guy, only because of 10,000 gold??

Troll is better in that role because:explain me the diffrence between troll w. guard and a mino w. guard?
can the troll still use guard when he´s stupid??
1) he's way tougher
2) doesn't have frenzy, so if he does make a block it doesn't put him out of position, you want that guard where it's needed, not wandering off because of frenzy
3) troll moves at 2+, mino at 4+, ok mino doesn't lose its TZ but the only more or less reliable way to move it (guard needs to be positioned right or is totally useless) is to blitz with it, and then you're throwing dice with no re-roll as backup.
I can't count the number of times I've seen a rat ogre or mino go on its face and be fouled off next turn. Frenzy + no block + no reroll + av 8 = big liability. Skaven need their rat ogre, cd's don't need their mino.frenzy works without doing a blitz - your opponent can´t igonore it.
I put a zombie on your mino, same thing, better chance of turnover.bulls are really nice i like ém when they have break tackle - or else
they are just faster black orks.
i put a zombi on your bull - try the dodge![]()

Sure that's nice but you don't need it, a troll with cd's next to it surrounding a cage is pretty effective as well.to open the defence by a blitz i prefer 3 dice, mighty blow, frenzy,
instead of a 2 dice block.
Your choice of course.i prefer 3 blitzer instead of only two... one bull for each widezone
and the mino for the center, or for deep defence when playing against
fast teams...
