Dauntless is a million times more versatile than Horns. OF course it CAN fail but as long as your prepared for that event and dont go blitzing first action, its a great skill to have to take down st 4 players ( its not such a great strategy v st 5er's as clearly there's added risk). Also if you get wedged up, theres the option to 1 dice blitz your way out, which you dont get with horns. Dauntless all the way.
