Buy a blitzer, one is definitely not enough to make your opponent fear the sidelines. Which is one of the main strengths of Norse.

And that ogre can wait for a long time, atleast until you have 4 blitzers and two throwers.

How would you use two Blitzers? One has Guard one is brand new. Would you put both on one side or the guard in the middle?

On Defense, I'd put both on the two squares adjacent to the true middle, so you can reach both sides easily. Ideally however, I'd have 4 Blitzers (with Block, Dodge, Jump Up, Frenzy, Tackle, Mighty Blow, Guard, Piling On....)

Yeah, and probably two AG 5 throwers and catchers, right?

Be careful with the guard blitzer, that skill may need a lot of careful planning, if you want to use both his blocking capabilities and the guard skill. Honestly, I wouldnt have chosen that skill, MB or Piling On would have been more useful in my book. But as that is an irreversible decision, make sure you dont restrict yourself by not using the blitzer to knock down oppo players, just because you want to use his guard.

Umm ... did I make my message clear? ;)

One of my experienced blitzers has guard and mighty blow. Some guard is essential in my league, since there are multiple dwarf/chaos dwarf teams with multiple guards. It's a tricky artform to use his guard and then make sure he gets off his own might blow block, but it can be done pretty consistently.

Hey, Max, do you have trouble keeping your Frenzy/Guard guy next to the right opponents? How tricky do you find that to be?

I often begin a drive with him in the middle of the line and have him give his guard assists, then use him to blitz if there's a sideline frenzy opportunity--He can run back for more guard assists next turn.
