Khemri Help

Post by Aksho »

I´m thinkin about playing Khemri at the next Leage. My problem about it is that I don´t really like to go the Dirty Player way with the skellis. So has someone experience going another way with them?

Sure thing, but you must roll either stat increase or double ;).

Seriously, my experience is that you need 2 DP, Just because Khemry team do no have agile players so if you are not lucky enough with blocks you must use DP to get rid of some key players.

I've found Block on the Skeletons to work quite well. I haven't had any doubles or stat increases on them yet. I'd probably take Guard on a double.

A couple of Tackle skeletons for use against Dodge-heavy teams works well too.

Geoff.

hm.....well I think going the Block/Tackle way is the only choice I have with them.

you'll be lucky to get more than 2 skills on any of the skellies anyway

If you won't take dirty player hope for lots of doubles on skellies and give them mighty blow. :)

I think that there is no point in using Khemri without dirty players... choose other teams instead. Khemri avoiding to foul is the same as elves avoiding to pass...

Aksho, ask gken1, probably the best Khemri player on this discussion forum - he'd certainly say "DP all the way!"

Fouling all the way, DP just helps :)

You don't need DP to foul ;)

Mummy 3 5 1 9 MB, R, B, MultB
Mummy 2 5 1 9 MB, R, B, Guard

Throw Ra 5 3 2 7 SH, P, R, Accurate
Skeleton 5 3 2 7 R
Skeleton 5 3 2 7 R
Skeleton 5 3 2 7 R
Skeleton 5 3 2 7 R, Guard
Skeleton 5 3 2 7 R
Skeleton 5 3 2 7 R, B
Skeleton 5 3 2 7 R, B
Skeleton 5 3 2 7 R
Not that manny skills on the skellies but block is first choise if not double

will get some DB but mostly because we use houserule on fouling (u get SP for casualty but RK must miss next game as well as the one he got it in)

The first Throw-Ra is quite nasty

What's the point of such a thro-ra if you've got no-one to throw to?

Catching an accurate pass with a skeleton is 4+. Not impossible, especially as I favour having four rerolls on Khemri from the start.

Not lucky with stats increases.
Still a pretty nice roster. And RR are an especially good buy for Khemri once you have all your players, keeping TR lower, that and hiring the star player mummy.
On DP, it's not required, but its always pretty nice to have at least one in my view, for getting rid of particulary peky players on opposing side, like a treeman or dwarves.
