1st Skill For Thro-Ra

Post by DrMike105 »

Hi there. I'm a first time poster and first season player (Khemri). The topic pretty much says it all; my Thro-Ra just leveled, and I'm wondering what to give him. He'll never be fouling, so no dirty player. My guys can't catch, so I'm steering away from passing. His main function is his sure hands. I'm leaning towards kick as his skill. Any better ideas?

And as long as I'm on the topic, is Block the best first skill (assuming no doubles or stats) for a mummy? Maybe Guard or Tackle?

Block is the best normal skill for a throw ra. On doubles dodge. Block is the best skill for a mummy as well. Gaurd and Break Tackle are fine second skill choices for a mummy. This is for league play. For a tourney Gaurd isn't all to bad on mummies. Tackle is a great skill but I think it's more of a blitzra first skill rather than a mummy first skill.

guard before block, if you are willing to risk more 1 in 9 blocks. It makes your skellies more dangerous and makes thngs more difficult for your opponent. Block just increases a players reliability, no new tactical options really.

I've thought about it, and relized you're all right. I do need protection for my primary ball carrier, and block is the easiest way to do it. Thanks.
