Progression on CDs for the UK Club Challenge

Post by darren woodward »

My team is:

2 BC
6 CD
4 Hobs
3 RR
1 FF

its a 1.1M event with no SPPs and a random player given a skill/trait roll
(before the 1st game) and after each game - no stat increases are permitted. Deaths/injuries are cured for the next game and generated skills are not lost.

My thoughts are:

CD - guard, MB
BC - BT, Block, Sure Hands/SF/Dodge
Hobs - one player each with Sure Hands, Kick and Dirty Player and then Block, Tackle

Any suggestions? Thanks

for CD guard should be your first choice. second MB, but remember guard first.

Ok personally i wouldnt go for stand fast on the BC, but side-step. it gives you more options, and with it your unlikely to get pushed into the crowd. give one BC block first, then the 2nd BT first, then alternate if you can. id leave sure hands to the last skill on th BC - go for BT or block first, dodge or side-step second, then sure hands, but depends on how you want to develop him.

hodgob options seem fine.

Hi, i forgot Side Step on the BC. I still think i'll go with BT before Block though on both to give me more options. Thanks, D

Guard on the CDs first.
One Bull with Break Tackle first, then one with Block (alternate if they get another skill).
Correct on the Hobgobs.
