Doomed to failure?

Post by Pogo »

I play the new experimental necro team from BBmag3, and i am wondering if that is a mistake. I play in a league with a lot of bruiser teams (multiple normal undead and norse and orcs and dwarfs and lizardmen teams, one of each type of elf, and even fast non elf teams seem to have 3-4 guarders to beat me up) and i am concerned that as the season goes on, my team won't be able to stay competitive due to casualties to my essential (and thus skilled)players. What i mean here is primarily my wolf and ghouls, all who can't regen or have an aptho and who have an AV of seven, but also my two AV 9 flesh golems.

So is this team too weak for this kind of league? Is there anything i can do to hopefully counteract this disadvantage? All thoughts welcome please!

I play a slightly modified Necro side, I forget what modifications were made, I think the Wights became a 0-2 choice, Golems got regen and werewolves became a 0-2 choice.
I find them very fun to use. They are Quick so use this to your advantage.
Casualties............well your gonna take them,so Bite the bullet, I lost 2 ghouls a wolf and a couple of zombies in my first 5 plus some players aged. I think they are 9/1/1 nowso not too bad.
The modified rules are on this site
