Heh....they dont, your player is effectively starting his movement from a prone position after being thrown, instead of a standing one.Right or wrong.
Somebody did it too me anyway...so maybe I am wrong

A player getting thrown who doesnt have the ball, fails his landing and goes prone(no injury) can stand up and move in that same turn, is that right?
Yup its right.

Right thats another string to my bow for my goblin team. I will have to test javabowl out to see if it works, hopefully the troll won't eat him this time.

Javabbowl works just fine in this respect. It's only a turnover if the ball carrier is involved.

Which is a great this as this is one of the primary ways of getting the gobbos where they were supposed to be in the first place :)

I always leave one halfling within 2 spaces of a Treeman if possible when I play.

Since opponents usually prefer to not be next to the Tree ... he is often free of TZs. If my opponent gets a break away scorer, as a last ditch I can pitch the halfling at him in hopes of either A) landing on top of him or B) throwing a 2 dice his choice blitz.

The only problem with the treeman thrower is his inept ag of 1.... oh dear. That and the fact that he only turns up 50% of the time.... oh dear again.

After the Spike Tournament my Treeman is definately sacked! He only turned up for the start of 2 games.

Thats not the sort of discipline I can encourage on my team.... no no.
Those halflings need discipline! Yeah.... I'll teach em....now where are my pills....
