Giving the zombie a +1MA will make him a threat whether he goes on to acquire block or not. A mobile ST4 is alot more useful for a bashy team than a high AV ST4.
Chances are your ST4 player will only usually be blocked by a big guy or with severally guard/assisting players anyway. So take the mobility and make him a line of scrimmage 'sweeper' that forces the play towards your waiting counterattacking players on the flanks (i.e. wights to knock the ball loose and ghouls to scamper off with the ball).
+MA or +AV or simply block on a strengh 4 zombie

Well a 6448 Dodging beastman needed to get to 51 SPPs for Block, but the Zombie only needs to get to 31. That's 15 more SPPs max, not impossible to do, give him the ball for the odd "last turn of a half" pass if you get the chance. Touchback the ball to him when you have 4-5 turns to score in and start grinding a slow TD in or keep your roster about 12 men in size to try and increase the odds of an MVP landing on him. It's not impossible to do it, especially if you're willing to take an occasional risk.DamianTheLost wrote:Hmm Fen you've got some real reasoning going on there, I was referring to u suggesting a 5428 ball carrier, and I believe the rest of the team are qualified for that role. However I'm still considering AV9, but how will I ever get him to his third skill so that crucial block can be taken. He reminds me of my 6448 dodging beastman still struggling to get block on my old chaos team called The Horny Hornets
If nothing else 4429 Regen is less likely to break permanently than the average player so if your league is long enough in length he has good odds of survival.
You managed to get him to 16 SPPs so far, just think how impressive he'll be with 4429 Block, Regenerate.
But, if you don't want to do it, fair enough, release him for transfer cause my necros could do with a zombie of that calibre.

*I'm recalling the SPP breaks from memory.
