fair enough. I often play orcs and block with black orcs before blitzers in a league, risking turnovers to speed up development. But conventional wisdom is that players with block make the most blocks.mattgslater wrote:Block speeds development almost as fast as MB does with more in-game impact... provided you're blocking schmoes who don't have Block themselves. On paper, it's only about half the acceleration, but in practice you'll be more willing to make early blocks with him and that makes a big difference.
dark elves, necro, what to do?

Ok despite every sensible person saying go necro! (can now take more than one skill the same - so could start with two blocking wolves - nasty!)
I'm just so tempted by DE, if i did would people think that a team with Blitzer + Dodge, Lineman with Block and Runner with NOS would work well?

I like the Blitzer and Runner improvements (esp. at 0SPP). If you're doing DEs, you might want either a Lino with Kick (@ 6 points) or a Witch with Block (@ 0).

What is Nuffle's view? Through a window, two-by-three. He peers through snake eyes.
What is Nuffle's lawn? Inches, squares, and tackle zones: Reddened blades of grass.
What is Nuffle's tree? Risk its trunk, space the branches. Touchdowns are its fruit.
