fair enough. I often play orcs and block with black orcs before blitzers in a league, risking turnovers to speed up development. But conventional wisdom is that players with block make the most blocks.

Ok despite every sensible person saying go necro! (can now take more than one skill the same - so could start with two blocking wolves - nasty!)

I'm just so tempted by DE, if i did would people think that a team with Blitzer + Dodge, Lineman with Block and Runner with NOS would work well?

The Wolves will quickly get there... do block on the two Flesh Golems....

I like the Blitzer and Runner improvements (esp. at 0SPP). If you're doing DEs, you might want either a Lino with Kick (@ 6 points) or a Witch with Block (@ 0).

with Elves the trick is to spread the skills. So rather than getting dodge for blitzers who skill easily i'd go for skills on linos and possibly block on a witch elf from the start.
