I would say get BT as soon as possible. It gives you more flexibility.

Planlos, the Winner of the NAF World Cup, played the following roster (TV110):
Krox
6 Saurus
5 Skins
Whatever was left in Rerolls, etc.

His skill choices were very simple:
First 7 skills were Block on Saurus and 1 Sidestep Skink
Skill 8 (double) was Block on Krox
Skill 9 (double) was Block on Skink

Krox, and get him gaurd or stand firm he is a moving wall

at least one skink with sure hands, picking up the ball kills this team. one with jump up.

sauri with frenzy(get him juggernaught asap) and the rest with wrestle.
