Is this under LRB4 rules? If not, why are you wasting doubles on skills the Blitzers and Catchers can take on normal rolls?

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Even in LRB5, I think you've a pretty good line up, might wanna swap 2 FF for a CL and AC, or up grade a lino to a thrower with that 20k.
Skill choices-blitzers-guard, sure hands, dauntless and tackle, I wouldn't worry about doubles for them.
Linos block, kick, guard on doubles
Thrower, sure hands, leader, accurate
catcher, block, sneaky git.
Your blitzers will be key, you'll want a sure hands player and as much guard as you can get.

Never played Amazons, but I'm thinking that Sneaky Git is wasted in a tourney.
For normal rolls on the Blitzers, I'd go Guard.
For normal rolls on anybody else, Block is always a good choice. You have easy access to blodgers. In a resurection tourney, that can make your opponents throw fits (unless you play against lots of Dwarves, but then block will help a lot more than most other skills).

I'd second this but I'd consider adding one Surehands (first lino or Blitzer) to protect against Strip Ball (rarer with random skills I know) and avoid burning rerolls on the one agilty roll you're likely to make without a skill reroll.Cramy wrote:Never played Amazons, but I'm thinking that Sneaky Git is wasted in a tourney.
