Is this your Female Wood Elf team you made with the Shadowforge Figures? Any chance you could post some more pics of it over in the picture section?
Yep this is my Shadowforge Elf team, it is all complete now (well complete for the tourney anyway, I still want to paint a few more figs and then the entire team will be done)

I am waiting until the weekend to take pics as it is too dark for good light when I get home from work at night.

I was thinking tackle or jump up on the dancer, and I think you may have swayed me to tackle, I had some probs with the frenzied Dancer a couple of weeks ago against a Norse team (boy that is a hard and vicious list in this environment but I pullled out a 3-1 win :D )

All I can say is try it, you might like it.

Have you thought about how horrible it is to defend against leaping frenzied players :)

I have played half a dozen lead up games with the Frenzied Dancer, I must admit it is fun crowd surfing my opponent, I guess I just had a less than successful experience with it in my latest game against some Norse.

Frenzied Wardancer is a horror.

Vast reach & a real threat.

But it requires more positional skill than Tackle.

Your call.

In a league setting I think it'd be great. Frenzy is a skill that needs some support, esp with ST3 - I play Dark Elves enough to understand that. And in those cases, I often give Witch Elves leap - I have one right now with Block, Leap, and AG5. What a beeeotch! And she's (arguably) not even my best Witch on that team. :)

But in a tourney setting where skills are a lot more limited, I'm not so sure it's a good idea.

Well, I like it in tournaments were I have a strip ball dancer and a frenzy dancer. If you can get the two blocks the chance of taking down a blodger is not far behind the chance with tackle, and overall its far more usefull.
Not only does it help you get players down and crowdsurf one from time to time, but it forces your opponent to setup and play differently. There are also some very interesting possibilities for chainpushing cages as people often doesnt see what the second push might do, and it really helps your oneturn touchdowns.

Got to agree with Fischerking on this one. Frenzy on a Wardancer in a tournement is not a bad skill choice. Wardancers are already a nightmare to deal with in the hands of a good coach. With Frenzy, they become a one player wrecking crew.

Well the tourney was on the weekend and I had a blast, I was literally one pair of snake eyes away from getting into the final (stupid thrower throwing a short pass to a lino who would then hand off to a catcher for the TD ... one re roll with pass ... one).

When all said and done I came 7th overall (out of 34 players) and won the most touchdowns for the tourney with only 7 being scored against me for the entire 6 game tourney (and 3 of these were in a game that I lost 3-2).

The team performed admirably and thank you everyone who has helped me so fa, I have learnt a lot.

Yep, in tourneys I also go strip ball on one and frenzy on the other. I'd take frenzy over tackle any day!

there you go. That's what Wood Elves do. Congrats on the fine finish. shame about the bad dice roll. Just keep in there.
