I need to go down into 179 TV and I have three players too choose from to be sacked/fired from the team.

Here is the team, Jolly Goodfellas (3 RR, 11 FF, TV192, 160K cash)

Slayer 5 4 2 8 Thick Skull, Frenzy, Dauntless, Block, Mighty Blow, Piling On, Juggernaut, Tackle
Slayer 5 3 2 8 Thick Skull, Frenzy, Dauntless, Block, Mighty Blow, Tackle (23 spp, 130K *1)

Blitzer 6 3 4 9 Thick Skull, Block, MA, Guard, Sure Hands, Tackle

Runner 6 3 3 8 Thick Skull, Sure Hands

Blocker 4 3 3 9 Thick Skull, Block, Tackle, AG, Dirty Player (23 spp, 130K *2)
Blocker 4 3 2 8 Thick Skull, Block, Tackle, Guard, Stand Firm, Grab (43 spp, 130K *3)
Blocker 4 3 2 9 Thick Skull, Block, Tackle, Guard
Blocker 3 4 2 9 Thick Skull, Block, Tackle, Guard, Side Step, Mighty Blow
Blocker 4 3 2 9 Thick Skull, Block, Tackle, Guard
Blocker 4 3 2 9 Thick Skull, Block, Tackle, Guard
Blocker 4 3 2 9 [Niggling] Thick Skull, Block, Tackle, Guard, Diving Tackle
Blocker 4 3 2 9 Thick Skull, Block, Tackle, Guard
Blocker 4 3 2 9 Thick Skull, Block, Tackle

Not an easy choice, but I definately wouldnt sack the last one. AV 8 is not a problem in a full team of AV 9ners. :)

I guess I personally would sack #2 since I wouldnt use either that AG or the DP nearly as much as I would use the skills on player #1.

AG3 on a longbeard is a no-no in my book, unless he has an MA add. I'd fire that guy out of hand.

It's not the AG. It's the AG and low MA. MA4 and AG2 are redundant: both say "don't give me the ball!"

Conversely, MA5 and AG3 is great. So +AG on a Slayer is ok, even though you've got stuff you want to give him and don't want to be carrying the ball with him a lot.

Plus, you have one too many Longbeards. You need another Runner, bad.

I'm convinced!!!

The AG3 Dirty Player just got fired!!!

Here is the team now, Jolly Goodfellas (3 RR, 11 FF, TV179, 160K cash)

Slayer 5 4 2 8 Thick Skull, Frenzy, Dauntless, Block, Mighty Blow, Piling On, Juggernaut, Tackle
Slayer 5 3 2 8 Thick Skull, Frenzy, Dauntless, Block, Mighty Blow, Tackle

Blitzer 6 3 4 9 Thick Skull, Block, MA, Guard, Sure Hands, Tackle

Runner 6 3 3 8 Thick Skull, Sure Hands

Blocker 4 3 2 8 Thick Skull, Block, Tackle, Guard, Stand Firm, Grab
Blocker 4 3 2 9 Thick Skull, Block, Tackle, Guard
Blocker 3 4 2 9 Thick Skull, Block, Tackle, Guard, Side Step, Mighty Blow
Blocker 4 3 2 9 Thick Skull, Block, Tackle, Guard
Blocker 4 3 2 9 Thick Skull, Block, Tackle, Guard
Blocker 4 3 2 9 [Niggling] Thick Skull, Block, Tackle, Guard, Diving Tackle
Blocker 4 3 2 9 Thick Skull, Block, Tackle, Guard
Blocker 4 3 2 9 Thick Skull, Block, Tackle

It's a good team at it's low TV and after first game I will get a runner and maybe also a blitzer (or a reroll). Hope to get to the finals next season. The ST4 blocker will miss first game due to MNG in the last match so my TV will be down to 160, and thats really nice, maybe getting some inducements in the first round.

I would not have taken the +AG on him in the first place.

Blocker #2, no question. You are paying 40K for that AG and that is just too much. You could get Guard and MB for that value in TV. MA4 is too slow for the AG to be that useful anyway. Dirty Player ain't that great either now.

I did it when the team was sky-high in TV and I hade alot of mixed players, just before everone got killed or retired for old wounds.

I hoped for +MA or a double skill to get Sure Feet, but I didn't so he got DP instead.

My blitzer hade the skill Leap, just for fun, didn't even use it before he got fired.

I'd get both a Runner and a Blitzer before I bought RR#4 on a team with that much Block and SH and that little MA. There's a reason Dwarf TRRs are cheap: they're the least-valuable TRRs in the game (not that they're not good; all TRRs are good, it's just that 3 is plenty).

Back in the day the low TRR price was good because you needed a point-sink to ditch extra cash, and TRRs 4-6 were good because each one came with -40k TR. But now that Treasury doesn't add to TV, that's not relevant and you should just rest and relax at 3RR, or hire a 4th one eventually and fire it when convenient.
