Hi guys,
I've a developing chaos team (http://www.bloodbowl-ireland.org/team/id/43) that's just hit 2,020,000 in team value!
I don't feel like a team that's worth 2 million. If anybody feels like it, I'd appreciate any criticism of the team.
Possibly the most questionable part is the minotaur, but he's fun, and I just rolled dbl 5 (so block, I'm thinking) for him.
My current plans are:
put tentacles on the block+claw mino - I should already be able to handle bashy teams, and tentacles will help against woodies and skaven, and allow more blocks. Put stand-firm as the skill after.
Standfirm on the next 2 of the block/guard CWs to skill up.
Piling on or claw on the CW with block+MB. Probably claw, PO would be much better against the flair teams, but i'm largely AV8, so help against AV9 is useful.
I've built one wrackle safety.
One block/frenzy crowd-pusher/blodger hitter to go on the other side from my mino.
I have one Side-stepping corner - waiting for a second SS to build the other corner.
Apart from that though it's hard to say no to block/guard.
I also have a ST4 beastman with block, and no real idea what to do with him. I'm thinking mighty blow, tackle seems a waste, possibly frenzy, but. It's still hard to say no to guard even on him!
It doesn't really feel like a 2 million value team! I almost felt more capable with my 1.6mill vamps! And my woodies for sure. I think I'm more of a flair team coach at heart.
I'm thinking maybe I need to score TDs with the CWs to get them to 31. Some stand-firms, and 1 claw may make a big difference? I got them to 16 SPPs with TDs but then ignored them to develop the Beastmen.
Any pointers?

I'd say that's looking like a killer team already. Certainly worth it's value. Especially the Block Minotaur.
Only thing really missing on your team are proper ball handlers. The Blodge Beastman is prime canditate, in my opinion. Get him Extra Arms ASAP (followed by Two Heads, possibly), and then your Beastman who just has Block can get Sure Hands and act as backup.
The S4 Beastman should be developed as your main Blitzer or cage breaker. Juggernaut, Frenzy, Two Heads, those are my choices. Or you can develop him into a LOS center, giving him Guard or Claw (depending on usual opponants).
Your Minotaur can be used as a fear device or to sit on the LOS bashing people to a pulp and using Tenticals to them all in place.
