Skaven or lizzies
Hi,
A few months ago I wanted to play a new team, a fast team and I tried out the woodelves (thanks again for all the advice I got on this topic from you guys by the way)... I played only 3 games with them, won all 3 and somehow I don't really like the way they play (doesn't mean they are bad or broken, I just don't like them).. and now I want to trade my team with a friend who has either a skaven or a lizzie team to offer. So, if I want a fast and fun (not necessary superpowered) team, which one of the two would you choose, and why??

If you want to juggle hitting and running / stealing the ball, play lizzies. They're definitely different from the wood elves.
If you want to focus more on running / stealing the ball / passing, play skaven. They're slightly more similar to the woodies (though not too much).
The lack of access to general skills of the skinks and the slow development of the sauri (at least until they have block) limits your development opportunities, while you could more easily turn your skavens into anything you want, within the limits of av7 of course.

I predict that you would not like Pro-Elves, as I consider them even more overpowered than Woodies (in a league).
Why don't you consider Humies? They are one of the fastest teams in BB, and have a lot of interesting and versatile skill choices now (Diving Catch for example, if playing 6th Ed.).
If you want a mixture of bash and speed, the Necros are not to be sniffed at. Their speed is mini-maxed, with half the players "fast" (up to MA8) and half the players "slow" (MA4).
Hope this helps.

hmm... I have to admit that Pro elves are my favorite agility team... and I don't think they're overpowered, maybe it's just me being a bad coach
.... anyways I also do own a human team and necros are on my short list of teams to get... but in this situation I can just choose between lizzies or skaven....

Lizzies are a long term development plan. Skinks go Squish and Lizzies take forever to skill up.
If you are looking to still be competitive the transition from W'Elves to Skaven isn't as drastic and access to mutations is always fun.
My preference would be Lizzies, simply because they are the most frustrating team to play against, even in the hands of a mediocre coach. The shock value of the team is great.
6 St 4 Players and 5 MA 8, most coaches tend to realise too late how to handle the team if they haven't played them regularly before hand.
And the Krox is argueably one of the best Big Guys in the game at MA 6.
Get Break Tackle on the lizards and krox and you'll have one very annoying cage for your opponents to deal with and MA 8 to break out of it with.

Skaven have no trouble winning games so long as the team stays healthy. But give them one match against something super bashy, and you may have to push the reset button afterward. I once played a league game against undead and won but only had 3 of my Skaven outside the Dead/Injured box at the end.
Lizards last a bit longer. They can usually win and survive an incounter with uber bashy. Developing them can be a serious challenge in TV management though. The sauri have to be given the ball a few times to get them enough SPP to get Block and start doing what they are meant to be doing. And no General access on the skinks is tough. Those that gain 3 skills without rolling any doubles or AG+ often become more costly than they are worth.
Both teams have their strengths and weaknesses. I would go with whichever team has the models you like the look of.
