Perhaps ±0.5 for all of those, collectively. None individually should ever get you to make a decision you couldn't otherwise justify. My objective is to suggest that you should consider 13 players if your guys are expensive and tough, 14 if they're one or the other, or in-between, and 15 if they're cheap and fragile.
I get the Bentham reference, but (being an ignorant Brit) not the Franklin one - what's that all about?
Somehow, during this century, the hedonic calculus got attributed to Franklin. Was it Will Rogers? Somebody important and quotable and American. I'm not making any historical claims, but we Yanks are likely to know HC as the "Ben Franklin Method." It's possible Franklin referenced Bentham at some point?
What is Nuffle's view? Through a window, two-by-three. He peers through snake eyes.
What is Nuffle's lawn? Inches, squares, and tackle zones: Reddened blades of grass.
What is Nuffle's tree? Risk its trunk, space the branches. Touchdowns are its fruit.
