Double on Amazon Blitzer

Post by Bizzy »

In my league only me and my friend are playing. The catch here is we both play every team its not a set of teams for me and a set group for him either. We have these teams
Division 1

Dwarves
Orcs
Amazons
Lizardmen

Quite unlucky for the Amazons if you ask me.

Division 2

Humans
Norse
Necromantic
Wood Elf

The way it works is each team plays the others in its division twice and the opposing division then a small offs and the winners from each division play for the title

After the first game of Lizardmen vs. Amazon (me using the Lizardmen) the Lizards won 2-0.

After the game both teams generated a skill and both rolled doubles. (Skink for me Blitzer for him)

Since this was the first game ever what should the Amazon blitzer take. The Skink took block to aid in survival. He took sidestep for now to help her stay alive and when she gets guard to help with that. What are your opinions

All advice would be appreciated

Good advice. ST3/Blodge/SS is a great cornerback, and keeps the team from having to use a Catcher that way, which speeds things up a bit.

What is Nuffle's view? Through a window, two-by-three. He peers through snake eyes.
What is Nuffle's lawn? Inches, squares, and tackle zones: Reddened blades of grass.
What is Nuffle's tree? Risk its trunk, space the branches. Touchdowns are its fruit.

Yea he is a smart guy but one of those players that is all bash no finesse so I know it will be an easy league if I can roll better. He wanted to take Sneaky Git and I yelled at him for Side Step or something better.

Game two didn't go well for me we played Norse vs. Wood Elf (since he lost he got to pick his team first) I lost the game 2-1 (me being the Welf) but I had 4 guys in the CAS box and 2 knocked out. Luckily for the Welves though they were all a miss this game. Go luck

Honestly, in that division, I might ignore the double and just take Guard.

Of course, Side Step is fun and opens up some interesting paths as well, but she'll probably be needed as a Guarder.
