Chaos Pact - should I restart or soldier on?

One guy in one of the leagues I am playing in has played 4 or 5 games, has had 3 BoB's and 1 Blitzer KILLED!! I kid you not, this guy is pretty damn new and he is still soldiering on. It will make a better player out of him being competitive with few positionals and having to build it back up. Same should apply to you.

If nothing else, being mroe dependant on your line-o's means having uber linemen in the coming games. We all know how much better any team is when it's on field base players have 1 or 2 skills attached. (C'Dwarfs - SH/Block Hob, Guard MB Dwarves, Elven - Blodge, Lizzies - SS/DT)

Spend this 'opportuinty' developing uber linemen. If they live long enough for you to replace your positionals your team will be better off for it.

I've lined up a recovery match against some nice, squishy High Elves (they've only got 2 players with block and I'll have 190,000gp in inducements so am planning to induce a mercenary marauder for LoS duty (alongside the journeyman and troll) and a mercenary Dark Elf to hopefully provide plenty of opportunities for 3SPP to the marauders.

It's just a shame that I won't be able to hire the Dark Elf afterwards if he earns a few completions as he's a merc and not a journeyman.

EDIT: Once I have the elf, I'll save up for a replacement for "Limpy" Haaken - I'd rather play with two Big Guys, even if one is dragging one leg, than just have a troll for a few games. Mind you, if Limpy starts to skill up before he gets sacked then I'll probably keep him and spend the cash on a Mino.
