Take wrestle first on Linerats, as they will likely not live long enough to get fend otherwise.

A Rat Ogre really isn't a great speedbump in a bashy league. His AV8 is going to get him hurt and then you're down 160kgp of value for the game. So while guard is always handy, you still probably don't want him on the LOS. He's probably better as a cage breaker (break tackle+juggernaut), but the caveat is that you should not rely on him to make crucial plays as the 1/6 chance that he sticks his finger up his nose will then cost you a TD.

So basically, use him as as midfield blitzer, but mostly try to use him as a distraction that you don't have to activate until the end of your turn for some bonus hitting.

I like the Rat Ogre as a middle LB against speedy teams, or a safety against bash. It's very nice to get him where he can make the best use of his high ST and Prehensile Tail.

I don't like Juggernaut on the RO, as I only blitz with him if he's prone or out of position (usually once per D drive): it's best to put him where he can be relied on to block. Stand Firm is a blast, as it makes him hard for many teams to hit. Break Tackle is also very good, but again, it's mostly just usable when blitzing. Still worth taking. Block on doubles of course.

What is Nuffle's lawn? Inches, squares, and tackle zones: Reddened blades of grass.
What is Nuffle's tree? Risk its trunk, space the branches. Touchdowns are its fruit.
