I'm just learning the Human team, but I would have thought +1MA is more valuable than +1AV on the Catchers, especially if they are Blodgers. So far the Blodgers on my team (the 2 Catchers and one Blitzer) are the stars, their ability to redeploy being critical.

Also, many of the starting lineups recommend taking only 1 Thrower, but why wouldn't I take a second thrower - same Stat line as a lineman, but for another 20k get Sure Hands (and Pass)?

Lastly, would you eventually aim to have all 4 Catchers on a Human team?

+MA would be great on the first instance, since it gives you a viable 1TS option.

For me the +AV was more valuable. I firmly believe in making one catcher into an extra blitzer with block/dauntless. Also, with the armour 8 you can be a little less worried about leaving the player unsupported as he has more survivability. I play very aggressively with two blitzers designed to go deep into the opponents side to cause havoc so for me blitzers are the stars. While my highly skilled catcher leads the team with 6 TD's my Blitzers are all not too far way with 4 a piece.

A lot of guys recommend eventually taking another thrower. Personally I tend to run any team I have with one Thrower, this guys second skill was block and I play him both ways. So long as you focus on some risk management he'll not take a beating.

Not for me. A single offensive catcher and a single defensive is enough to do what I intend to do.

So the season ended today with the Dark Elves forfeiting to me as they couldn't make it and a 3-0 win over the goblins.

End of season record is:
6-2-2
Touchdowns
For: 26 Against: 9
Casualties
For: 15 Against 12

My Ogre got a skill and I gave him Stand Firm. I bought a fifth re-roll.

The problems start here:

AG 4 catcher got a skill and I'm between giving him leap or something else

My block/AV 8 catcher rolled doubles for his next skills. Double five's. I really want to give him Dauntless so I can use him as a fifth blitzer but yeah, I'm pretty conflicted on giving him more speed, nerves of steel, dump-off or keep to the plan. Advice?

AG4 catcher? I'd be wanting, in order, Block, Sidestep, Fend. Doubles I'd take NoS.

The other catcher I'd give Guard. Av8 and Block already make him fairly resilient and a mobile long range assist is great.
