Monster Witch Elf

In one of our local leagues, a Dark elf team has developed into a monstrous winner. They've amassed 16 wins, 1 loss and a couple of ties. All of this in part due to the exceptional ability of a single Witch Elf.

One its first skill up she gained +1 Str. That made her very difficult to deal with her and she began to start her reighn of terro. It wasn't till her next skill up (another +1 str...I witnessed both), that she really dominated. At strength 5, dodge, frenzy, and jump up she even began clobbering the big guys. Now she has picked up block and is on the verge of another sill up.


Let me just say that she dominates the whole area arround her when she plays and coaches live in fear. Even my minotaur takes a beating from this B...witch.

Even the retired Wood elf team that ruled for a while refuses to face her.......can't say I blame them.

Take a loss, if needed, and foul her unmercifully.... 1/2 die blocks... just get her down and pile it the hell on!!!!

A strength 5 Elf is an abomination. A strength 5 Witch Elf is the work of the devil.

But I concur with the first reply: chainsaw.

In general terms her AV7 will give in eventually but you should take every opportunity to take advantage when she is on the floor (so to speak.... )

STAB works well (Hemlock for instance would do a great job)

failing that, Wrestle/Tackle lino, sent to the slaughter (2 dice against), and hopefully a foul right after that.

Mind you: she survived, unhindered for 31 SPP without block, she's been really lucky.

A Wrestle, Tackle, MB player for the take-down....a dirty player to lay it in once she's down.

The fact that she's exceptional should prove to your advantage in a game. She's worth a ton of TV and so likely unbalances the rest of the team. What's more, the coach probably lives in mortal terror of her even getting knocked down, let alone having her armour broken, since she's such a special player. So threatening her probably means that the coach will try to save her with a disproportionate response, throwing defence or offence at least partly with it. One tackler should help a lot as you can usually get at least a 1-d on anyone with ST5. This also means that a chainsaw would probably help quite a lot. The coach will probably do his utmost to keep the saw away from her precious witch elf even if you never get to actually saw her.

She's been kicked fairly regularly, surfed a number of times, and even stabbed. She must have a lucky charm.

She was manageable till she picked up block, Now she's just a beast.

This is what tackle/MB pestigors are for..

Starts with ST4 when blitzing, bring in 2 assists => 2die block, if she hits the turf you already have 3 assists for the DP foul.. That's AV4 if you brought sneaky she's bound to suffer.

Our league also has a pro elf lino with ST/ST/block/dodge (6547, ugly!), my nurgle team has added him some "stats" of our own (-MA, Niggle).

This witch will suffer the same fate, you just gotta keep the faith (like in my last game - I rose to 3-2 overtime victory from 0-2 by just keeping on fouling&blitzing the elves )
