Heya just asking some advise for a Norse team not played them much buy just brought a painted team so need to give them a go
Basically i get 1.2 mill to spend
Only up to 4 players can have skills
Max of 2 skills per player
Only normal skills
skills cost 20k each
No 2 players can have same additional skills
Not Allowed an apothecary
All skills taken before first match
No development during tournament
Resurrection between games
I'm thinking
2x Berserker (guard) ( guard, Kick )
2x Runners
6x Linemen
2x Norse Werewolves (Juggernaut, Strip ball) (Block, Mighty Blow)
3x re-rolls
Keeping the Juggernaut and strip ball wolf back on defense for sacking any one who runs deep,
Tempted to replace juggernaut for tackle making him able to sack players who are deep waiting to receive the ball
Any advice would be great, weather its team makeup or skills,
Norse for spiky

Re: Norse for spiky
what about a mighty blow/pile on blitzer?
or a simple claw snow troll?
i would say that a block/tackle wolf would make a better all around player than either of the ones you suggest. able to act as safety, and to really hurt some players.

Re: Norse for spiky
block or wrestle would be better than juggs
just keeping him deep to be a safety won't really help much when with AG2 he can be marked quite easily
kick is nice but tackle or mighty blow is probably better

Re: Norse for spiky
Yhetee 140k (Gaurd or Jugg + Mighty Blow 40k)
2 Werewolves 220k (Block + Mighty Blow x 2 80k)
1 Norse Blitzer 90k (Guard + Mighty blow 40k)
8 linemen 400k
1 x Fan Factor 10k
3 x Reroll 180k
1.2 mil
Basically its the pain train express, most norse postionals arent worth it except for the skills they bring, Norse runners get 1mv and dauntless for the price of nearly 1 linemen, not worth it imo.

See what you are saying and tbh would be quiet good to try a pure offensive put your opponent in the dead box team i only really have played more agility/ ball handling team till nowBasically its the pain train express, most norse positional aren't worth it except for the skills they bring, Norse runners get 1mv and dauntless for the price of nearly 1 linemen, not worth it imo.
would have 2 change one of the wolfs as cant have 2 guys developed the same so might go with Block / tackle just for those dodge stacked teams or would u advise another guard on 1 of the wolfs
Also will be nice to give the yhetee a go see what he can do, tho would prob go with guard on the yhetee over jugg but rules wont allow me to have same upgrades on yhetee and the blitzer and ideas on what changes u might make to either char
im tempted to change the blitzer 2nd skill form mighty blow to tackle or stripball
these changed would give me 3 guarders as well to assist more blocks from the linemen
