Yep, a bribe is a one time 2+ to avoid ejection. It's worth noting that if you foul with the chainsaw, you might want a bribe for that too.

Had a bit more than stated and went with a wizard, 5 bribes and a deathroller with guard.
The death roller cased 2 casualtys, both regenerated the wizards lightning failed to flow and the bribes were more than useless.
Gave up first turn of the second half 1-0 to him as the deathroller rolled its 3rd tripple skull of the game.
Turned out most of the players he had were loaded with guard an I just couldn't match that as he feed rotters to the dwarves to keep them occupide.
Never felt worse about a blood bowl game and its chalked my deppresion up to 11.

Considering how useless the bribes were, maybe it would of been better to notice that bribes are limited to three maximum (page 69). Better luck next time though!

The cards are under rated and therefore the expensive ones are fairly good to take.

And you should have gone for a chainsaw guy... the space he clears is amazing but you'll need to protect him from the casual blitz.

Funny really, our nurgle coach is loading up on Block... maybe guard will come later.

Yea and that didn't help either. I get it I suck at BB, but you steve and jaime going on about how I didn't have a chance was just great fun to listen too.

But I would have appreciated a little support from the league entering such a tough match.

In a game of Blood Bowl (or most games), usually one person looses. Don't take it so hard.
Instead think of what have you learned. Perhaps you will win your next match against Nurgle or perhaps you will loose.
That coach and Nurgle might just be your kryptonite, you might never or very seldom win against him or that team.

Just remember that BB is a dice game, sometimes everything goes your way and sometimes you loose against Halflings although you had 300k inducements.
