Okay, so I'm taking Dodge on the Blitzer and Strong Arm on the Thrower. The latter concerns me slightly, but I'm staying with the Carrier/Retriever duality (pure carriers get hurt too much), and my retriever almost never gets hit and seldom gets marked. As for the Blitzer, Blodgestep is too good to ignore, especially with AV9.

For the Lino, do I take Dodge or Side Step? Either way, it would be the all-important second instance. I think I want to use this guy primarily in his current capacity as a sweeper/marker. Both skills are really superb for that function, but I'm not convinced as to which is better. I lean vaguely toward Side Step. Tackle at 31, Kick at 51.

Why not take the SS as I know you are a big fan of positional skills.

In fact do me a favour and update this after 10 games if you found it be benefitial. Im find a lineorc is just scrimage food and anything over block is just not needed.

Doubleskulls ideas I think are the strongest and I would be tempted to take all his suggestions

I actually pretty much never put lineorcs on scrimmage in this format. It's one thing if you're playing perpetual, especially TV-matching, and the 90k you have to spot your opponent to put BOBs on the line is a potential difference-maker, but in this format, while I'm already seeing ClawMB and some ClawPOMB will inevitably build up, I have no real fear of seeing it on ST4 guys or in multiples. So I put my slow guys on the LOS, where they force the opposition to commit their Guard and ST on the line and my Blitzers and remaining two power pieces can move where they see fit.

The one reason I'm leery of Dodge on my KOR guy is that in six games I can count on one hand the number of times he's been blocked or attempted to dodge. The only two defensive TDs I've allowed were after one fumble and one Blitz result. Dodge would have been nice on the Blitz result, because KOR puts him on the ball most of the time. But the ability to throw short passes doesn't actually sound much more applicable.

OK, developing my choices for you.

Thrower: KOR, doubles
1. As a thrower - Strong Arm then Accuarte
2. As a "lineman" - Guard then Block

Lino: Wrestle, doubles
1. Side Step then Fend
2. Stand Firm then hmmm.... don't know :D

I love Wrestle Sidestep combo on all players no matter what team.

@ Stashman: I totally get it.

Here's the question, at this point.

If I don't take Dodge on either, I'll have just one Dodge player. I don't see this as a good thing, because he always plays strong, so a single Tackle player can always (or usually) mark him. Still, doubling down on Dodge is also kind of doubtful.

ATM, I'm leaning toward SA, Dodge, and SS, respectively. I have until Saturday to decide. I can see Dodge in place of either, but I'm not in love with it except inasmuch as it's the clear best option for one guy and best in multiples.

Also, as I mentioned earlier, if I give the AV9 guys both MB, then get MB on my Frenzy guy, that will leave me with six MB guys going into the season. That's the closest competitor, in my mind.

If it matters, next opponent is a Necromantic team. Veteran coach, not great but used to be horrid and is now much improved. 3-1-6, looks like he's at halftime and about to go to 4-1-6, with a Block/MB Were, a kickin' set of FGs and Zeds, a ST4 Ghoul and a SS Wight. After that, Dodge-heavy Skaven. After that, I'm not sure.
