Slann - league team development help needed

My frogs have played a few more games with mixed results. My double move busted kick linefrog has gone to the great lilly pad in the sky courtesy of a chaos warrior but my 5AG dodge frog has hit 31spp and rolled a double. I also have 170k in the bank so my 2 decisions are;

1 - 5AG, dodge frog - next double skill.

I know a well trodden route to go with a slann catcher's double is guard, but with 5 AG this frog's role is to leap into the cage to retrieve the ball and as he already has such a big target on him, I don't want to just feed him to the opposition. I'm thinking of ignoring the double and either taking sure hands to help with the pick up in TZs or either pass or safe throw to help him get rid of the ball when he's picked it up in the cage. Block may be another option just for preservation.

2 - 170k to spend - what to buy?

I already have an apo, 4 RRs, 3 blitzers, 4 catchers and a 5 linefrogs so a Krox, blitzer number 4 or RR number 5 seem the obvious options.

One final thought is that in my next game (the final game of the season against Amazons) I'm already giving 200k inducements to my opponent so maybe I should hold off spending the cash till after that game.

Spend the money on a wizard. Take down a blodger, jump in, steal it, win game.

I would put block on the AG5 frog. Block is always your friend.

If the last game is a championship, and you are not playing any more games, I would seriously consider the krox. Amazons do not like the tail.

But, if you will be playing additional games after this season, I think I would hold onto the $ for future replacement players.

I normally go for guard on doubles but with AG5 I think pass is a better option. If your just looking to keep him alive then block would be the best but I wouldn't ignore the doubles.

If it was me I'd hold on to the money (13 player is plenty).
