troll slayer 1st skill pick

Mb or Piling on for 1st skill choice? I can't pull the trigger.

I wouldn't consider PO as the first skill at all.

I'd go with either MB or SF (if you end up using him near the sideline a lot).

I have read SF is usually a later taken skill due to Troll slayer having lower AV and usually targeted a lot. But very side line useful.

Av8 is low for a dwarf but not most players.

The SF is to keep him in bounds after he pushes someone else out. Ideally your longbeards will have SF as well, but more for when you need to mark opponents.

Mighty Blow, no contest, keeps you on your feet. I take it you are still using CRP to even consider PO?

Yes still CRP, haven't started a league with new rule set.

Mighty blow as he'll be on his feet and he'll get to his second skill faster

I would take SF. I won my league playoffs with only one MB on my dwarf team, but 7 SF and 7 Guard.

My troll slayer has survived a few games and now has 30+ points. He is now on a 3rd skill up. Already has mighty blow and piling on. I was thinking of taking Tackle as a 3rd skill. Possibly looking at Stand Firm also. Is that a good skill direction? Should I think about Break Tackle or something else?
