What do u mean Orcs don't need a bench?

I think that it depends on what other teams are in your league.

My starting team in the Welsh Weyr Bloodbowl League was:

2 x BOB
3 x Blitzers
1 x Thrower
5 x Linemen
3 RR
8 FF

I picked this so that I'd have a nicely balanced team and wasn't accused of "power gaming" since I am the commisioner.

I lost my first game against a Chaos Dwarf team {Although I have beaten him 7 times before the league game! Nuff said!} and lost a Lineman. I did manage to get Block for one of my BOB, and was reasonably happy because I could afford to replace my dead Lineman.

Game 2 was against the Dwarves. I won the game 2-0, but remember my BOB with Block? Yep, he snuffed it! :D I also managed to get another three Linemen out for the next match!

So game 3 is coming and I am down to 8 players, and have had to replace my BOB with another one that hasn't got Block! It is against a Noobie's Human team, so things shouldn't be that bad .......

Yeah right!

When this league is over with, I WILL be taking a sub or two in my starting lineup, and strongly suggest that anyone else does to.

Oh, as an aside, NEVER EVER take a balanced team against any of the players in my league. My new philosophy is get them before they get you.

Long live Da Green Machine!
