Now is the time to lament the passing of Hawk Nordstrom, a Norse catcher and one time ally of my Dwarves, McAttack...

In 2 games, he scored 4 TDs and picked up 4 casualties..

He had 2 skill rolls, getting Dodge and +1 AG..

He would have taken my team to a greatness never before achieved by Stunties..

and he was murdered, in front of the ref, with a poisoned dagger...

in the hands of LUCY!!!!!!!

Now, join me in a prayer of rememberance....

Well, It's your fault that my strength 4 zombie got killed.
Therefore, there will be no prayers because the world was gratefull to get rid of him.

You shouldn't have used your doctor to save that stupid longbeard. Your fault...... 8)

I just got my ST4 wood elf line-man killed by a thrown rock from the audience! It was his second match with the upgrade, rolled 1 for the apothecary. After rolling blizzard for the weather, having my MA10+sprint catcher miss the match (niggle) and seeing the line-elf die even before the first drive had even started, I was kind of hoping that the match was quickly over ... :x

Best player my bloodriver Fists Orc team lost was the star goblin catcher 'ace' Erak. 6237, RS/St/Dodge/Catch/Sure Feet/Sprint. 9TD's 2 cas and 2 MVP's from 12 games. Lost him at the hands of a Werewolf(!) while playing the Fjordsters. Wish he had block. Wish the werewolf didnt have tackle

In my last regular season game, my orcs played chaos dwarves. It was the bloodiest game ever. I killed 3 players, seriously injured 2 and badly hurt 5. Killed hark twice.
But I had 4 deaths on my side and of course my appoth fail the damn roll. My deaths included Oderus Urungus, Ballsack, Amok and cant remember the last.

Slightly off track here, but the youngest memeber of our group played humans and managed to lose 10 players to deaths in a 12 match season. :(

Unsurprisingly, he didn't win the cup! :)

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Forces me to remember my first season with a Chaos team...started with Three Chaos Warriors. Lost one in the first match of the season to WOODELVES and lost the second in the very next game against undead. Needless to say that season was a long struggle up hill. Ended up with two more deaths and an abominal casulty percentage, but the second best offence in the league.

Just thought I'd post an obituary to my beloved Runner.

"Superman"

7-4-4-8 ((yes, that's right!!)) Block, Dodge, Dumpoff.

Killed by a worthless Beastman on a now defunct Chaos team.

This obituary is a tale of sorrow and grief! I remember the face of a friend of mine when I killed his beloved wardancer with a blitz, got the ball out of the corpse and scored the goal that allowed the draw and the extra time because we were in the playoff. 2-2. In the end the grief overtook him and after a series of mistakes that lasted an eternity for him I won 4-2.

My ghoul named Alfa Romeo (don't ask) had a short but succesfull career. In first three games he scored 8 touchdowns and two casualties, just to become killed by crowd in his fourth game (managed to make one TD before getting killed, though). I bet it was my crowd, not the opponent's. But hey, my fan factor rose back to a whopping 3 after the game, after having decreased twice in a row ! (as if that made me happy...)

Although you expect dying Hobboes, you sometimes get attch to them.

Piz Akurd, whose name evokes a "notorious" pizza chain (kind of if he was named Piz Ahut...) just gained his third skill. So after a couple of games, he was standing at 51 SPP's with 7 3 3 7, Block, MA +1, Strip Ball.

On the very first Block thrown at him on the next game, he died, with the apoth used earlier in the game to save a Niggled Guarding CD... Dumb rookie mistake !
