Amazons?

In the next league we are playing we are going to allow two teams per coach. I'm actually thinking of going for Amazons as my second team now. (Lizardmen first). Only because no-one has played them before with us. Well, no-one has played Chaos Dwarves either

OT: I see that lots of people play PBEM games or online. Is that how most BB is played today? I have never played online, so maybe its time to try.

I wouldn't say most, not by a long way. I have 3 Pbem teams, and I play more tabletop than Pbem. The beauty of it for me is the range of coaches I get to play via Pbem, the Wodell League has a relatively small number of coaches.
It's also a godsend for those that have no local leagues, and for those (like Galak) that can't spare 2 hours at a time.

The other point of PBEM (at least in Galak's leagues) is that it is a good opportunity to play against very good coaches. I used to think I was a pretty good coach, but I'm a rank amateur compared to lots I've played against via PBEM.

My Amazons won against Dwarfs this Thursday...2-0.

BH / SI / D for me: 0/0/0
BH / SI / D against me: 0/0/0

He was almost in tears.

I'd been hearing half my team would die to the Dwarfs for like...the past month.

Got a doubles for my Blitzer's second skill too...Stand Firm.

So far, she's +1MA, and now Dodge/Block/Stand Firm. She does NOT want to move.

Amazon tactics: Don't die in the first few games 'til you get lots of Blodgers, then be basically impossible to knock down.

I have two wicked Blitzers
First:Block,dodge,Dauntless,Piling on
Second:Block,dodge,gaurd,Mighty blow

The first is an absolute machine, racking up 2 cas in each of her last three games,(her last she only went 4 turns before getting injured,but still got 2 cas).
Dauntless was a risk choice but payed off as she killed an Ogre in her last match,(saved by apoth though)* Mighty blow will be the next choice

I have two more blitzers,one is 2 points from a skill, and one is AG4.

*(I talked my oppo out of using his apoth the turn before on a BH slayer,just in case someone was injured worse,and it payed off for him)Am I a nice Guy
