Sure Hands will not help if you roll only shit, but it prevents you keeping the rr for that pick up. You need it to rr blocks and gfi.

But I'm not angry with the choice you made. I only wanted to say, that this wouldn't be my choice. But it may be that my choices aren't the right idea and yours are right.

Maybe true, but I still got 3 casualties, and forced him to commit two more self inflicted ones (failed dodges). So I think I did enough damage. LOL.

BTW I am not the only FF 1 team in the league. There is an ogre team with it as well. Almost half the league has an FF below 5. This is the first time we have played with a season that continues to the next. As such, most of us have never seen the pay off of a high FF. Might come back to bite us. I am mostly playing this as a change of pace, may play in the "minors" next year with a rookie team instead of continuing them. Just wanted to try something new. I have played Zons and elfs (of various kinds) with FF8-9 each of the previous 5 seasons. It was time for a change.

For me nuffles number is not 11 but rather 1111. I roll quad skulls quite frequently (rerolled double skulls double skulling)

If you play to develop your teams in a long term, that is what i understood, when you talk about teams that will make it to the next season or seasons, then high FF is a good choice. You have to think about the fact, that you can't buy FF after you built a team. On higher TR you will have trouble to even get some cash and buy a replacement for a blitz-ra or a mummy.
I used to have my FF as high as possible when I want to play a team on a long term.
But may be you will play good seasons and your team develops well. Then everything what I said was useless
