Well, im comming 3rd in my legue, so im not doing That bad
If I didnt try to play 3 games in a row a couple o weeks ago (Making a start at 8:00pm finishing at 2:00am...) then I could still make it to 1st
In any case, I still have the most Über passer in the legue (Beastman w/ Big Hand, Sure Hands and Pass. Yes, I also have the AG4 Beastman to catch the thing :) )
Anyway, it all depends on who's playing them

Yeah, I also finshed in third place in my recent summer Blood Bowl League. The secret to my success was my defense!!! I only allowed 5 TDs all season (9 Games). My problem was that I only scored more than one TD twice in the whole season

I think Chaos are a great Blood Bowl team, if you have some luck early on and you have a ton of paitence...cause it can be slow, especially if your in a tough vs. finesse league. If you stick with it you can have a very fun and dominant team!

Chaos was better with the allies rules, and perhaps a bit more like they should be in the story aspect. It's not like the Chaos Allstars just consist of Beastmen and Chaos Warriors.

Should be fun to se the new allies rules that is in the Blood Bowl Magazine #3

Chaos are OK with enough rerolls

Post by Bevan »

My Chaos team is currently leading our league of 8 teams after 7 matches each. The league has an even balance of agility and strength teams, plaving standard Living Rules.

I had a weak team to start with (1 Chaos Warrior) by buying 3 rerolls at the start and a 4th as soon as I had 2 Chaos Warriors. I don't have any Big Guys. These rerolls are essential for a team lacking skills.

As with my last Chaos team that did not roll a double until the 26th upgrade, this team has 10 upgrades without a double, so its success is not due to Claw or Fangs. I do have one player with an agility upgrade. No player has 2 skills upgrades yet. This is the only team in our league with such an even player development - anyone can score so why not share it around. They don't depend on casulties for SPPs.

The team is very tight on defence, never had had more than 2 TDs against. They usually score 2 or 3 TDs and have the best %TDs scored vs TDs against of any team in the league.

A big advantage is the ability to always do a ST4 Blitz that can set up positions for assists for other 2 dice blocks.

I actually prefer coaching Wood Elves but Chaos are a good team if you play them carefully.

Chaos can use some good ally rules no doubt!
